What are you accountable for achieving?

The successful candidate will deliver an efficient and accurate HR administration service associated the management of all employee relations issues including in particular grievances, poor performance, absence and disciplinary action, across all business lines within agreed procedures, standards and timescales, complying with all statutory requirements.
The candidate will provide timely and relevant information and advice, when requested, to employees, managers and external parties, within agreed parameters in order to maximise customer efficiency, effectiveness and confidence.
Employee Relations Administration
  • Administer HR activities associated the management of all employee relations issues including in particular grievances, poor performance, absence and disciplinary action, across all business lines within agreed procedures, standards and timescales, complying with all statutory requirements.
  • Collate and prepare the files for Employment Tribunal, liaising with relevant parties, including Legal and the line manager
  • Schedule meetings/interviews to ensure the timely management of process
  • Produce the letters relating to invitations to meeting and the outcome of the relevant process.
  • Ensure the accurate logging of cases into the CRM system and allocate to the relevant Resolution Manager
  • Track SLAs to ensure compliance against process, escalating any non-compliance where appropriate.
  • Using standard tools, produce the regional case management trends and commentary for the regional management team and feed into the wider People Services reporting framework.
  • Undertake the role of note-taker, where appropriate
 To succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
  • Experience in using MS Excel, PowerPoint & Oracle HRMS.
  • Working towards CIPD or CPP qualification or relevant HR experience
  • Experience of delivering to customer service targets within a complex environment
  • Experience of working in HR team, ideally within a customer orientated commercial environment
  • An understanding of employment legislation, its application and best practice
  • A broad understanding of the HR employee lifecycle
  • Knowledge of DHL DC HR processes and procedures
  • An understanding of the role HR Customer Service Delivery plays and its interactions with other HR functions across the employee life cycle
  • Able to fully utilise standard Microsoft Office products and the application of Oracle, HR systems and workflow/case management
  •  GCSE (or similar) English & Math’s
  • Graduate CIPD/ working towards a CIPD or Certificate in Personnel Practice desirable or equivalent qualification or relevant HR experience
