       i. VP, Global CoE:
       Key Activities:
  • Coordinate the administrative and logistics aspects of meetings when held locally and in overseas, acting as secretariat and liaison-in-charge, maintain management schedule.
  • Manage CoE in the absence of the Head of CoE, and ensure all matters requiring the VP CoE’s attention are redirected with discretion and attended to meticulously.
  • Undertake any other function-related duties and tasks assigned.

  • Well organised calendars, travel schedules and itineraries, meetings, conferences and other business events.
  • Assurance of worry-free business travel & information sufficiency.

·         Driving country rollouts in accordance with strategic TMS rollout plan in the most effective and cost efficient manner.

·         Engage country IT and transport teams effectively to help drive the rollout of TMS across the region.

·         Together with the TMS Solution Manager, assist the country IT and transport team to perform solution design and costing for transport IT solutions.

·         Work with the TMS product team to ensure the product has the right functionality for the region.

·         Manage and drive improvements with the TMS product team in support of the strategic solutions and country rollout.

Specific Role Context: Drive the TMS rollout programme across the region; help ITBD to develop TMS solution and costing for customers.

Specific Role Challenges: Working across the region driving TMS rollout, adoption and development in both emerging and mature markets, with differing cultures and priorities.

In addition transportation is a key part of APMEA’s growth plans up to the 2015 target.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1a. Customer - External

       Key Activities:

·         Ensure strategic TMS solution meets the needs of our customers.

·         Work with the TMS solution and product team to develop IT applications and products across the strategic TMS solution to meet/exceed customer requirement across the region.

·         Actively support the business growth, both within current client base, new services, and new clients, including pre-sales activity as appropriate to increase market share.

·         Actively support the countries in the investigation and review of key customers supply chain needs and identify where DSC can best apply value.

·         Actively support customer TMS projects in countries.

·         Ensure TMS solution and products provide excellence of service across the sub region and meet our contractual commitments.

1b. Customer - External
       Key Activities:

·         Drive country TMS rollout projects across the region, working closely with country heads, transport leads, country IT heads and regional TMS product team to support improved transport management capability, standardization, consolidation, visibility and reporting.

·         Drive the deployment of the TMS solution across the region such that the end goal of all T&D revenue and cost is generated in the TMS and linked to Oracle financial reporting.

·         Ensure the TMS is utilized to ensure consolidation of Vendors or captive Fleet by lane, by final destination so as to drive the increase in T&D gross margin.

       Overall Goals/Typical Measures:

·         Strategic Rollout plan completed as planned.

·         TMS deployment into all countries in region with the bulk of T&D revenue managed within the system.

·         TMS usage by lane, by vendor, by spend.

2. Stakeholder

       Key Activities:


·         Working with the sub region and country T&D, country IT teams and regional TMS team to ensure alignment of TMS solution, rollout plans and strategic TMS roadmap.

·         Working with country Business Development to support the achievement of growth targets for T&D.

·         Working with RO and Country IT TMS teams to ensure the effective delivery of TMS systems to support T&D operations.

·         Working with regional TMS solutions and product team to align TMS priorities and strategy.

·         Work with regional TMS team to develop and drive TMS solution rollout plan in conjunction with country and sub-regional stakeholders.

·         Participate in monthly service review meeting with Regional team and vendor.

·         Maintain strong links with the sub-region transport and TMS teams, country transport and IT teams and regional TMS team  to ensure alignment with the agreed TMS solution strategy, rollout plan and product roadmap to deliver a standardised and scalable TMS offering which supports network consolidation.

·         Plan and monitor projects to ensure they are completed on time (DEPICT).

Overall Role Purpose:

The role is responsible for information security governance and compliance function. The principle objective is to protect the company’s information assets and reputation in line with the commercial and contractual arrangements in place with DHL customers.
Taking guidance from both corporate and global information security risk teams, the role is accountable to the regional infrastructure and service management function fordeliveringthe strategy, roadmap and service provision of security and risk related policies, standards, technologies and processes.
Additionally the role will be mandated with ensuring internal controls, industry compliance and regulatory requirements are assessed against all change initiatives (Customer, Supplier & internal) and business as usual operations that impact operational products and services.
Ensuring the business has the relevant level of business continuity in place & providing guidance with formulating disaster recovery plans where necessary.

Validate supplier technology decisions that affect ISRM either directly or indirectly.

The Position:

Experience and Qualifications:

    Education: 12 Years schooling or equivalent.
    At least 4 years? experience in the Business Tourism or MICE Industry.
    At least 1 year experience in a project support role either working in or with a corporate environment, experience in operational support from DMC/PCO background would be preferred
    Must have experience in assistance and support in successfully managing events from start to finish in the corporate field.
    Ability to negotiate with people at all levels
    Exceptional English written/Spoken and knowledge of other languages like Arabic and German is preferred
    Strong MS Office skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access)
    Valid U.A.E driving license
    Experience in managing budgets is preferred

Chicken Samosa



Ingredients

500 gm chicken mince
1 tbsp chili flakes
11/2 tbsp cumin crushed
2 tbsp whole coriander crushed
2 bunch of green onions (sliced)
Salt to taste
Samosa sheets
Oil to fry

Method

Stir fry the chicken in a pan and add the rest of the ingredients and cook till chicken mince is done. Let the mixture cool and wrap in samosa wraps!and fry them.

Chicken Tikka Pizza


Dough:

white flour......3 cups
yeast............1 packet
oil ...............3-4 tbsp.
salt............... 1 tsp
sugar ............1/2 tsp
milk…………..1 cup
method for dough..
mix all the ingredients well and knead the dough using warm water.let it rise for 30 mins,keeping in a warm place well covered.


Tomato paste:


tomato puree….1 small tin
salt … 1 tsp
vinegar 1 tbs
oregano 1/4 tsp
onion chopped 1/2
chopped garlic 1 tsp.
crushed red chillies…2 tsp

method for paste:

In oil fry onion until transparent then add garlic and all other ingredients,
then let simmer until water dries up.......

Ingredients for chicken topping:

boneless chicken...500g
salt ,red chilli,black pepper,garlic paste,all 1 tsp
lemon juice 1 tbsp,
shaan tikka masala…3 tbs
tandoori masala……..1 tbs


Method for chicken:
marinate chicken in all spices, keep it for half an hour and cook in little oil ,when water dries up and chicken gets half tender,keep aside..

Other Toppings:

tomato 1 cut in cubes,without seed
green capsicum cut in rings 2..
red paprika…cut in rings…2
small onion chopped
oregano 1/2 tsp.
olives…..10 cut in rounds
mushrooms….10 cut in rounds
cheese…( I brought a packet of 3 kinds of mixed grated cheese) u can use any of mozeralla,chedder or carrot,

Method for preparing:

punch down dough and roll about the size of oven tray then place it in. ,spread tomato paste then put chicken then spread half of the cheese,then put veggies and then again cheese then sprinkle oregano on top..
bake in preheated oven at 250C for 10 to 15 mint .........
its ready to eat!!

Mini Pizza Pies

Ingredients:

Flour 2 cup

Castor Sugar 1 tsp
Milk powder 1 tbsp
Egg 1 
Salt ½ tsp
Instant yeast 1 tsp
Oil 4 tbsp

Ingredients for filling:

Capsicum finely chopped 3 tbsp

Onion chopped 3 tbsp
Tomato chopped 3 tbsp
Chicken boiled and shredded 1 cup
Flour 1 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Mustard powder ½ tsp
Milk ¼ cup
Cheddar cheese grated ½ cup
Ketchup as required
Method for pizza dough:

Mix together flour, castor sugar, salt, milk powder yeast egg, and oil in a bowl and knead with Luke warm water into soft dough. Leave to rise for 1 hour. Now roll the dough to a big circle ½ inch thick, cut 3 inches round with cutter. Place each circle into a greased tart tray. Apply ketchup then chicken filling. Top with cubes of capsicum and tomatoes. Sprinkle grated cheese and leave it to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Than bake on No: 6, 200 degrees centigrade for 25 minutes.

Method for filling:
Heat butter, add chopped onion with salt, pepper, and mustard powder, mix now add flour and milk. Mix well. Cook for 2 minutes and remove

Honey & Cinnamon Pancakes

RECIPE:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
2 eggs
milk, as required

2 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp honey + 3tbsp to serve
2 tsp cinnamon powder
4 tbsp butter

1. Mix the flour with baking powder, eggs, sugar and enough milk to obtain a thick batter of dropping consistency
2. Stir in the vanilla essence, 2 tbsp honey and cinnamon powder
3. Pour spoonfuls of the batter onto a non-stick pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
4. Serve pancakes topped with melted butter, icing sugar and remaining honey.
