Head of Technology, E&M Sector
This
role provides leadership and ownership of the IBP and resource, maximum
the performance in Technology and E&M Sector by providing
leadership. Focusing on customer requirement, operational Performance, a
motivated workforce, succession planning and make” DHL” a good place to
work, deliver new business growth in China
Key Roles:
- Work with global/regional and country team to refine China Key Account Management strategy, measure success and amend as appropriate
- Provide customer oriented service at all times relating to specific sales issues.
- Provide support to escalated issues, develop prevention and resolution for key customers
- Facilitate the provision of solution management, account management and enhancement of supply chain that meets and exceed customers’ expectation
- Responsible for preparation and delivering QBR meeting with customer.
- Work with operations team to resolve customer-related issues, and be responsible for business and profitability growth
- Provide valuable information to senior management for their strategic direction
- Identify and develop potential, sustainable customer relationship to the growth of new opportunities
- Work with Ops to ensure the delivery of quality service to customer and the compliance ofSLAand KPI
- Actively promote the exchange and adoption of “Best Practice Sharing” within country to leverage collective learning and to improve consistency and productivity.
- Ensure high morale and a high level of team motivation is displayed at all times.
- Continually review and improved business processes to increase productivity and value to DSC
- Formulate a team sales plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects and maximizes growth within the existing client base so that the required personal sales results are achieved.
- promote DHL competitive advantage and solutions to the assigned list of accounts
- Display strong skills in target customer analysis to ensure that all customer requirements are being fulfilled.
- Establish and implement a pricing review timetable that ensures management attention on improving margins from listed accounts.
- Adhere to regional standards on profit margins and discount guidelines
- Ensure the customer agreements are cost sensitive to ensure a suggested minimum pricing tariff is set and adhered too.
- Ensure co-operation with other members of the account management team, operations management & sales team and throughout the sales force
Skill/Qualification
- Must have substantial operational and commercial experience in 3PL
- Proven commercial and business development skills, ideally within technology, E&M supply chain environment.
- Ability to think and act strategically and develop and implement market strategies on a country basis
- Proven project and program management skill and methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence, present, and persuade a broad range of audiences.
- Technical aptitude: this role required the understanding of Technology, E&M industry and its total value chain
- Ability to effectively manage in a highly matrixes environment and across regions. Countries and business units.
- Possesses a high degree of collaborative leadership skill and can establish strong working relationships and personal contacts.
- Above 7 years working experience in logistics and Supply Chain/manufacturing logistics.
- At least 5 years logistics/operational experience in a management role
- Have good and advance conceptual knowledge in Account Management/Customer Service/Supply Chain Solutions
- Bachelor degree or above, Masters or equivalent degree preferred
